Greenhouse Volunteer Sessions

Salt Lake City Public Lands

Join the Trails & Natural Lands team for weekly volunteer sessions at the University of Utah greenhouse! Help grow the future of Public Lands by assisting in the production of native plants for restoration projects around the city. Volunteers can expect delicate work transplanting native seedlings each week and watch them grow throughout the season! Work will be indoors but be prepared to dress for the weather and bring water. Gloves and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gardening gloves. Sessions are held every Sunday from 9:00a – 12:00p and 1:00p – 4:00p. Space is limited to 10 volunteers per session. There is limited parking in front of the greenhouse. If you are able, please park across the street (Pollock Rd.) at the housing lot to the north of the greenhouse. From the parking lot, go across the street and down the steep driveway, look for the gray door! Parking lot google maps pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/VZeJsohJCnmDt8Wz6
