Join a semi-annual volunteer effort to help beautify and honor the Salt Lake City Cemetery. As one of the biggest city-managed cemeteries in the entire country, the SLC Cemetery is a beautiful and important piece of our city's history and culture, and volunteer efforts provide a tremendous help in the effort to give it the attention and maintenance it deserves. It is also a registered arboretum, with dozens of unique tree species planted within the cemetery grounds! Join us as we work alongside our Urban Forestry experts to plant trees and maintain the space while enjoying a peaceful fall morning with your fellow community members. Please come prepared with clothing you're comfortable working in, closed-toe shoes, water, sun protection, and any layers you may need in case it's chilly. We will provide all the necessary tools.
