Join a volunteer effort to restore native ecosystems at Popperton Trailhead! We will be planting a variety of native species along the trail with guidance from SLC's Trails and Natural Lands crews. This will help to provide habitat for native flora and fauna, reduce erosion, and increase biodiversity in the foothills. Please bring sun protection, clothing you'll be comfortable working in, and water. The work area has little shade and temperatures may be warm, especially at the beginning of the project.
