Come celebrate trees at Fairmont Park for Earth Day with a Tree Care Event! We will prepare our lovely trees for a warm summer by ensuring they are well mulched. We will remove grass near the tree bases to protect from mowing damage. Trees are a special part of the park. We need strong backs to dig and anyone can help us carry away buckets of sod and spread mulch. Come have fun and make a difference! - Meet at the table in front of the Ranger Trailer.

Volunteers will be using hand tools and wheelbarrows to remove sod mulch. 6 foot spacing between volunteer with shovels and lifting wheelbarrow with legs.
