Salt Lake City Public Lands
Join us for our annual goathead removal volunteer event! We will be removing puncturevine/goathead, an invasive weed with sharp burrs that are the enemy of bikes, recreators, dogs, commuters, and the community. Removing these invasive weeds helps to slow their spread to protect us from their dangerous burrs, and saves space and nutrients for native vegetation. We will be meeting at Saturday Cycles (230 S 500 W #120, Salt Lake City, UT 84101) anytime between 6pm-7pm, and finishing up at the Fife Wetlands at 9pm. Volunteers must register individually to accept volunteer waiver upon registration. SIGN UP FOR A VOLUNTEER SHIFT BELOW!
